AHEAD OF 2019 SUMMIT, NEXTICORN INVITES STARTUPS AND VC TO REGISTER
Yayasan Next Indonesian Unicorns (NextICorn) Chairman Daniel Tumiwa invites Indonesia most investable startups and preeminent venture capitals to register themselves in NextICorn Summit 2019 that is to be held on this late October.
“The registration process has been opened since early July at www.nexticorn.com. We welcome all VCs and Indonesian owned startups that are looking for funding above USD 1 million to come join us in Bali,” says Daniel in his press release (07/29/2019). Daniel further explains that this year’s Summit would still aim to create more Unicorns in Indonesia, “There has been missing middle between our thriving startups and the VCs all these times. We need to fill that position so these future Unicorns don’t have to go through the same hassles as their preceded did.”
By matchmaking those potential startups with global VC, Daniel believes that Indonesia would gain many benefits in the long run, “These new investments would generate tax income for the government and also open new job vacancies.”
“Considering how successful our last two summits were, we believe that this initiative needs to be continued in the years to come,” ceases Daniel. NextICorn is a foundation that is established by Indonesia ICT Ministry, AMVESINDO and EY to promote Indonesia most investable startups to prominent investors across the globe. It is known that last year NextICorn has successfully conducted two Summits in May and in October respectively where it managed to accommodate 3,999 meeting requests between investors and curated start-ups, in which resulting in 400+ follow-ups that are converting into deals.
